More than a talented attorney – Eileen Donovan is an advocate. Her commitment to her clients goes beyond compulsory legal standards, ensuring that everyone she works with knows that they have someone in their corner.
Eileen is dedicated to guiding her clients to make the best legal and financial decisions to meet their own personal and unique needs. Practicing a holistic method of lawyering, she specializes in personally guiding her clients through the very complicated and often confusing process of estate planning which encompasses balancing family protection, preserving wealth, and reflecting cherished family values. This individualized client-centric approach ensures all matters are handled with diligence, but also with humanity.
In practice for over twenty years, Eileen understands that frequently only the very wealthy avail themselves of customized plans because such planning is very complicated and can seem to be a confusing web of financial and legal decisions. She believes that the same strategies used by the very wealthy should be and can be available to people in all financial brackets, knowing that everyone needs and deserves the same access to experienced guidance to protect their families and their hard-earned assets. In her practice, Eileen seeks to become an on-going trusted advisor and lifelong resource to all of her clients, assuring that she will be there for your family when needed.
Eileen earned her law degree from St. John’s University, School of Law where she was a published member of the Journal of Legal Commentary and also served as President of the Civil Trial Institute. Currently, she is a member of the Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Sections of the American, New York State, and Westchester County Bar Associations. A testament to her dedication to advocacy, Eileen is dedicated to helping others, both in and outside of her community. She has served on district elementary, middle, and high school Boards as well as serving as the chairperson of specific wellness, safety, and community service committees. Eileen is a long-standing member of the Junior League, and for the past eight years, she has also been the Chapter President of Lion’s Heart in Scarsdale, a not-for-profit organization connecting teens with volunteer opportunities, handling over fifteen different groups of teens who together have performed over thirty-eight thousand hours of service.
